Defining and using scenarios

The definition of a scenario is the foundation for any testing or training. Scenarios like “standard situation”, “flood event”, “low discharge”, “unforeseen dysfunction” are used to set and test systems or to qualify and instruct stuff.

Virtual River – an Impartial and Unbribable Basis

Virtual River suits perfectly as an agreed basis for the approval and the certification of control units used in hydro power plants.

Exchanging all data via the same interfaces used in the real world (e.g. OPC UA), Virtual River can be used in final acceptance tests before connecting the control units to the real hydro power plant’s structures.
